River Cruise Deals

On all our cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each grade at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 25% available on selected grades. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis.

As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce, until those selected cabins are sold. This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount.

Please note that during peak booking periods discounts can reduce quickly.

Cabin Guarantees

Our Cabin Guarantees can be a fantastic way to save money if you do not have a preference for a particular cabin number. You are guaranteed the minimum grade of accommodation onboard, but your allocated cabin could be located anywhere on the ship and will be confirmed when you arrive at the ship.

Please note we may be unable to advise you of your cabin number and location on the ship until your arrival onboard. There is a chance you may be upgraded, but this is subject to availability.

If you choose not to accept your allocated cabin, this will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges will apply. In such circumstances, if you have already arrived at the ship, you will not be entitled to a refund and you will be responsible for your return travel.

1. Offer for previous Saga Cruiser and their recommended newcomer(s) to Saga Cruises only.
2. Offer will only be applied to new bookings and will not be retrospectively applied to existing bookings.
3. To recommend for a Saga Ocean cruise, the recommended friend must have not previously cruised on, or have an existing booking for Saga Rose, Saga Pearl, Saga Ruby, Saga Sapphire, Saga Pearl II, MV Spirit of Adventure, Quest for Adventure, Spirit of Discovery or Spirit of Adventure.
4. To recommend for a Saga River cruise, the recommended friend must have not previously cruised on, or have an existing booking for Spirit of the Rhine, Spirit of the Danube, Spirit of the Moselle, Douro Serenity (previously Spirit of the Douro), Douro Spirit, Amadeus Elegant, Rex Rheni, Johannes Brahms or Amadeus Provence.
5. Extra 10% saving is off the current fare at the time of booking, after all other offers and savings have been applied.
6. Offer is only applicable on bookings made during the general sale period (excludes Advance Registration bookings), for Saga cruise departures up to 31 December 2026.
7. The recommended friend does not have to sail on the same cruise as the previous cruiser, nor does the previous cruiser have to make a new booking for the offer to apply to their friend.
8. Previous cruisers can recommend more than one friend. In the case of recommending multiple friends, the 10% off will only be applied once per new booking.
9. To apply the offer, the recommended friend(s) should make their booking and the previous cruiser should then call with their booking number to have the discount applied. A 10% saving will be applied to the previous cruisers new booking after the recommended friend has paid their deposit.
10. Current fares will be confirmed at the time of booking. All fares are £s per person.
11. Direct bookings only – cannot be applied to bookings made through a Trade Agent.
